This fall, we kick off a new program for our veterans and their families. This program will run in partnership with White Rose Canoe in Newbury, Veterans Northeast Outreach Center, Disabled and Limbless Veterans, our Veteran Services Officers throughout the area, and many more.

Veteran Canoe Adventures will kick off on Sunday, October 24, 2021. These trips will be run out of White Rose Canoe at 291 High Rd, Newbury Ma 01951. Canoe trips will happen a couple times a year, and each trip will be free for our veterans. All the veterans will need to do is to register in advance. Upon registering, please let us know if you will be bringing one guest with you. Space is limited, so you must register and receive a confirmation.
We strongly encourage every veteran who is interested to register. This will helps us see what the interest is in these trips and allow us to determine the number of trips for next year. If the trips fill up, those who register will be notified when the next canoe trip is booked and contacted if they would like to attend.
Our focus is to create a therapeutic outing for veterans to come together, enjoy time with each other, and bond over floating down the Parker River and enjoying a picnic during the day.
