This Veterans Day VFWLorrainePost29 in Haverhill will be hosting a special meal delivery event to honor our veterans. This will be a special meal delivery event, in which free BBQ chicken dinners will be delivered to veterans and their families through contactless deliveries.
If you know a veteran who lives in Haverhill, please get them and their family registered for meal delivery. They are welcome to request a meal for everyone in their household. Meals can be requested by calling 978-373-1900. The VFW is asking veterans please leave a detailed voicemail with their full name, phone, number of meals being request and address. A member of the VFW will return your call with 24-48 hours.
VFW Lorraine Post 29 is also seeking donations and volunteers to help make this a successful event for our veterans. Those interested should reach out to the Commander of the VFW at cmd@vfw29.org
