Veterans Day 2015
Goal was to great strong events on veterans day that brought out pure appreciation for the service of our Veterans.
Paint Night
A new event feature for the Boston Celtics and The TD Garden, Paint Night. This paint night event support Operation Delta Dog, featured a drawing of a Golden Labrador Retriever wearing a collar with a shamrock. 65 people attended the Paint Night event, and all of them also get a tickets to the Celtics game as well.
Complimentary Suite / T-Shirts
I requested through the Boston Celtics Community Relations Department the price of a suite for the game, as I was in the midst of raising funds through GoFundMe. Celtics donated an Executive Suite, soft drinks, pizza and free t-shirts for all 18 veterans that attended and enjoyed the game.
Complimentary Tickets
One of the Vice Presidents of the Boston Celtics extended an additional 12 seats to me to be given out to veterans for the game. Together this tallied over 100 with me on Veterans Day either supporting our veterans.
Funds Raised
Paint Night raised raised several thousand dollars for Operation Delta Dog and the Go Fund Me fundraiser raised an addition money was raised for New England Center for Homeless.
